Web Hosting

If you are starting a website or a blog, you are going to need a Web Host. From a branding perspective, you may have heard of GoDaddy and BlueHost which offers really inexpensive hosting options. However, in a host, you need to be able to look for someone who you can contact when you have an issue with your server instead of a call center that you wait hours on end for. Here are some of my favorites.

Dreamhost

BEGINNER - DISCOVERY PHASE

My very first host was Dreamhost. I know a lot of people use Bluehost, but I've heard mixed reviews. Just for awareness, this Bluehost does pay an amazing affiliate kickback.

I've never had a bad experience with Dreamhost. It's also where I buy my domain name today. Get $50 by signing up through this link!

BigScoots

INTERMEDIATE - GROWTH & EXPANSION PHASE

After a few moves from Digital Ocean (really bad experience because I didn't know what I was doing), BigScoots has been amazing. They host ALL of my websites. I think they are awesome and their pricing is incredible.
